About Hill Blogs

Hill Blogs is a student-led blog exploring economics, mathematics, finance and the related ideas found in books.

I am a Year 11 student with a growing interest in how economic and mathematical thinking can help explain the world around us more clearly. I created this blog as a place to record what I learn, examine questions that interest me and develop my ability to research and communicate complex skills clearly.

The blog includes reflection on book I have read, short articles investigating economic concepts and occasional longer reports based on my own independent research. I will cover a range of topics from how banks create money and why firms price products differently to the mathematics behind interest, risk and decision making.

I do not claim to be an expert. Hill Blogs is intended to document the process of learning; asking questions, testing explanations, considering different viewpoints and improving my understanding over time. I am happy to respond to questions through comments or emails, and I welcome any corrections or responses you may have.

All views expressed are my own, and articles are written for educational purposes rather than as financial advice.
